How many construction vehicles will there be?

The maximum number of outwards movements of construction vehicles in any one day will be circa 20-30 Heavy Duty Vehicles (HDVs). However, this relates to the peak period and is likely to be confined to the early earthworks / civils phase of the project.

For the majority of the works duration the number of outwards movements of construction vehicles in any one day will be between 5 and 10 HDVs. The number of abnormal loads will ultimately depend on the final configuration of the engines.

Notwithstanding the above, if construction traffic effects are considered to be significant, a Traffic Management Plan (TMP) can be implemented during the construction of the Proposed Development if considered necessary.
